CHILDREN’S CHOIR BIG HIT

Church of God Children's Choir 

Ms Lilly Bebernik brought the Church of God’s German Children’ Choir to the annual Liederkranz Advent Concert. All 225, who came, left in the Christmas Spirit after their performance.  Comments like, ‘loved the Children’s Choir’ and ‘enchanting’ were heard after the concert.

Soloist Magdalena Melax of the Leduc School of Music added to the list of performing guests with her powerful voice and presentation of Medley of Christmas Memories.

Wayne Prokopiw & Curtis Farley 

Wayne Prokopiw and Curtis Farley’s high energy brass ensemble played their Christmas Selections to the delight of the audience.

Pianist, Karen Mills, accompanied Liederkranz on piano. Director Donalee Inglis Gorfer had the choir at their best, performed their set of songs of the season.  Audience favorite was ‘Little Drummer Boy.’

This year’s Liederkranz’s Advent Concert was judged by many to be one of the best.  In the Finale, to candle light and lights dimmed, all the invited performers joined Liederkranz Männerchor in ‘Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht.’
