NIGHTINGALE GAL TURNS 50

Karen Mills and 100 friends celebrated her 50th birthday at the Unitarian Church on January 28.2017.  She was born in 1967, the year of Canada’s 100 anniversary.

Highlight of the evening was a program of song.  Groups performed honoring the birthday girl: Chorealis a choir that Karen formed, Männerchor Liederkranz and, also, friend & soloist Andrea Graham accompanied by guitarist Kim MacKell.

About reaching her 50th year milestone Karen said, “It’s not hard, just keep breathing.”
