LIEDERKRANZ VOLUNTEERS AT THE GERMAN PAVILION

Many Liederkranz members and their wives volunteered at the German Pavilion, preparing and serving the food to the long lines at the food counter. The sauerkraut, some say, was the best ever.   Many, many fair goers were drawn to the German fare in long lineups throughout the festival.
